Goal
The goal of the Seasonal School is to attract young researchers to landscape surveys and upgrade their qualifications in order to involve them in future international or local projects.
Focus
The Seasonal School focuses on facilitating interaction between listeners and professors/speakers, and also the School is focused on field workshop, which is especially important since the most important part of the landscape approach is based on field researches.
Target
The target auditorium of the school is younger generation of scientists, PhD’s, Master’s and Bachelor’s students.
Language
The working language is English.

The seasonal school (30h) consists of lectures - 26 hours, which will be given by scientists from The University of Sheffield, UK; University of Lisbon, Portugal; Leibniz-Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF), Germany; Estonian University of Life Sciences, Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Estonia; Technische Universität Berlin, Germany; University of Granada, Spain; Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development, Germany; University of Rostock, Germany; Martin Luther University Halle- Wittenberg, Germany and field seminar (4 hours), which will be conducted by Georgian scientist from TSU in Kazbegi.

Lunch, Coffee breaks, Welcome party, Event banquet and dinner during the field seminar will be provided for selected participants, as well as their transfer from Tbilisi to Kazbegi and back.

Certification

Each participant will be awarded a Certificate.
